I was raised in the Bronx, and have been locksmith- ng for over forty years. I worked in many facets of the industry, both as a locksmith, shop owner, and as a sales rep- entative for national distributors. My past experience as President of the Institutional Lock- ths’ Association, and now as director of the AIL, has allowed me to continue my desire to p make a difference in the industry, and create positive change. My reason to become South East director is to continue this goal on a broader scale, and to tinue to address the needs of the entire locksmithing community here in the South East. Held various positions in operations and business analysis with RCA Service Company/Gen- eral Electric Company in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Kentucky and New York City. Joined Safemasters Co., Inc. in 1989 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Washington DC. Was appointed President & CEO in 1993 and held that position until the company was sold to Stanley Security Solutions, Inc. in early 2005. Managed the initial integration of the Safemasters business into Stanley through 2006 and then became the Director of Service for Stanley Mechanical Services until mid 2008. Was ap- pointed to the position of Director of Business Development focusing primarily on locksmith acquisitions in the US and Canada.
