What’s New ASSA ABLOY Acquires Construction Specialties A SSA ABLOY has purchased Construction Specialties, a di- rect sales company within the commercial sectional doors and docking products sector in the U.S. and Mexico. Construction Specialties, es- tablished in 1994, has 140 employees and is headquartered in Brownsville, TX, but has its main business in Mexico. “Con- struction Specialties has a strong team of well experienced people and a solid mar- ket position. It is another important step for our growth in North America,” says Juan Vargues, executive vice president of ASSA ABLOY and head of Division Entrance Systems. Police say he could be among the victims of George P. Bush after helping another of Bush’s victims during a service call. Bush was later shot and killed by police officers.
