I find it’s easier to do that when they are desperate to get the safe open than it is to tell them later, when any damage may have been done. At this point I should explain that these safes are very rarely fitted with factory- fitted time locks, so the position of the time lock itself is almost totally random. It depends how the engineer who fits it feels like fitting it on the day. He marked the door, and I had a look through the keyhole with my scope and guessed where the time lock was fitted.
