ASSA ABLOY has announced the integration of its Aperio wireless lock technology with all editions of Tyco Secu- rity Products’ Kantech EntraPass Security Software 7.0. The integration provides a way to add wireless locks to almost any door or opening in a facility, including doors, cabinets, draw- ers and server racks. Aperio technology is a wireless platform designed for expansion of electronic access control systems using wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and an Aperio hub. Through the integration, Aperio wireless locks can be added to the EntraPass system and can be man- aged from its interface, allowing managing events, reporting and integrated mapping.
