If you haven’t, take a look and also take the time to update your free listing you receive as a mem- ber. We’ve made other online improve- ments too, particularly to the processes for membership renewals and register- ing for conventions and training. Our goal is to make things as easy for mem- bers as possible while taking advantage of y and association goals. Perhaps the most exciting new benefit we have in the works is a health insur- ance proposition, with possible enhanced supplemental coverage for those 64 and older. As many of you operate small busi- nesses or solo proprietorships, we under- stand the challenges that you face in se- curing health insurance for yourself and your employees. ALOA has long wanted to help in this area, and it’s been a com- plex issue to tackle. We expect to introduce this proposition before the ALOA Convention, and the board and staff are excited to share the details with you. We’ll share information as soon as we can, and you can always contact us with questions at [email protected]. As always, thank you for being mem- bers. I look forward to seeing you all soon at the conventions! Mary A. May Executive Director [email protected] WWW.ALOA.ORG
