Our country and industry are changing, and it’s not pretty; it’s up to us to slow down this effect. We stand for honest, trustworthy, de- L cent and honorable business people with a strong code of ethics not only in our business, but also in our daily lives. These traits are already ingrained in our fine American servicemen and women; they just need a chance to prove it. We can’t and won’t depend on our government to help them; government programs will only make veterans more and more de- pendent upon handouts until they be- come so dependent that they will be to- tally lost. I am a veteran and damn proud of it, and I truly believe in giving these fine young people a real chance to make something of themselves. Our industry ast month, I asked you to look at hiring a veteran and letting the Veterans Administration and is getting old; just look around an how few young people are worki our industry. We can’t just keep thr these veterans out on the street w a chance to stand up and become g upstanding American taxpayers. So where do we go now? How d find them and save them? “We can’t just keep throwing these veterans out on the street without a chance to stand up and become good, upstanding American taxpayers.” ALOA is working on a program that will help you locate that next employee already trained and ready to go to work.
