Select Concrete Services Annual Meeting On February 25, 2026, more than 300 AGC Houston members gathered at the Junior League of Houston for the 2026 Annual Chapter Meeting. Communication expert Anthony Huey delivered the keynote address, sharing insights on the power of effective communication in an AI-driven world. Attendees left with practical tools and techniques they can immediately apply in their professional and personal lives. During the program, AGC Houston presented the Standard of Excel- lence Award to David E. Durrett of Facilities Electric, Inc. Established in 1998, this prestigious honor recognizes an outstanding construction industry professional who exemplifies the highest standards of teamwork, professionalism, leadership, creativity and innovation, customer and community service, and passion for the industry. Additionally, the William H. Scott III Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Ryan Shults of Gilbane Building. Named in honor of AGC’s only two-time Board Chair and longtime volunteer leader, the award recognizes a member who has gone above and beyond in service to the Chapter and the industry.
